Honorary Member 2025 of the Amics del Liceu

On June 26, Josep Pons was named Honorary Member 2025 of the Amics del Liceu, in recognition of his artistic career and his close connection with the Gran Teatre del Liceu.

The ceremony took place in the Foyer of the Liceu during La Nit dels Amics (“The Friends’ Night”), an annual gathering that also includes the presentation of the Critics’ Awards. The evening featured performances by young talents and established artists in an atmosphere filled with celebration and music.

“I am deeply grateful to receive this recognition from the Amics del Liceu. The Gran Teatre del Liceu has always been a very special place for me, full of memories and shared music,” said Josep Pons during the event.
