Under his leadership, the orchestra embarks on <strong data-start=\"4348\" data-end=\"4374\">a new artistic journey<\/strong>, shaped by a rich and thoughtful programme to be developed over the coming years.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4460\" data-end=\"4812\">At the heart of this new direction lies <strong data-start=\"4500\" data-end=\"4523\">\u201cVisions of Europe\u201d<\/strong>, a multi-season project that reflects on Europe\u2019s cultural history and its contemporary challenges. Pons envisions a musical dialogue between past and present \u2014 where concerts are not only performances, but also cultural reflections designed to inspire thought beyond musical enjoyment.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4814\" data-end=\"5197\">Each season will feature <strong data-start=\"4839\" data-end=\"4866\">\u201cspaces for reflection\u201d<\/strong> exploring themes such as <em data-start=\"4892\" data-end=\"4916\">The World of Yesterday<\/em> \u2014inspired by Stefan Zweig and linking composers like Johann Strauss, Alban Berg, Dvo\u0159\u00e1k and Bart\u00f3k\u2014; <em data-start=\"5018\" data-end=\"5044\">Music at European Courts<\/em>, connecting works by Lully, Rameau, Ravel and Strauss; and <em data-start=\"5104\" data-end=\"5126\">Laments and Passions<\/em>, a journey through centuries of music expressing grief and devotion.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5199\" data-end=\"5493\">A special focus will be dedicated to <strong data-start=\"5236\" data-end=\"5260\">Hildegard von Bingen<\/strong>, one of the great women of the Middle Ages.
