On 23, 24 and 25 January 2026, Josep Pons conducted the Orquesta y Coro Nacionales de Espa\u00f1a at Madrid\u2019s Auditorio Nacional de M\u00fasica, renewing his collaboration with the ensemble of which he is Honorary Conductor.<\/p>\n
The programme was devoted to Johannes Brahms\u2019s A German Requiem<\/em>, one of the landmark works of the European choral-symphonic repertoire. Departing from the traditional liturgical requiem, Brahms\u2019s score offers a profound message of consolation and hope through a selection of biblical texts chosen by the composer himself.<\/p>\n
The performances featured soprano Katharina Konradi and baritone Jos\u00e9 Antonio L\u00f3pez and were dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Adamuz railway accident.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
