Music for the inauguration of the Tower of Jesus at the Sagrada Família

In June 2026, the Basílica de la Sagrada Família marked the centenary of Antoni Gaudí’s death with the inauguration of the Tower of Jesus, the tallest element of the architectural complex designed by the Catalan architect.

As part of the celebrations, the Gran Teatre del Liceu Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, under the direction of Josep Pons, took part in the recording of the music used in the audiovisual production created for the event.

Developed in collaboration with Igor Studio, the project combined music, architecture, light and image in a production conceived specifically for the basilica. The performance transformed the façade and towers of the Sagrada Família into the setting for an artistic event with international reach.
